Bridge Alignment
Horizontal and vertical alignment geometry for bridge layout and station-based review.

Overview
Bridge Alignment is an independent geometry workspace for building horizontal routes and vertical profiles, reviewing their drawings and querying stations. It supports PI-based transitions and explicit line/arc input for horizontal geometry, alongside vertical grades and parabolic curves. The tool is being developed for the company's bridge-design automation workflow; the product is not publicly released, and the linked application is a demo.
Technical capabilities
Bridge layout and field coordination depend on consistent station, plan and profile geometry that can be inspected before it feeds a structural model.
Technical scope
- Author horizontal PI/radius transitions or explicit line and arc segments, with Clothoid, Bloss, Sinusoidal and Bi-quadratic transition options.
- Define vertical grades and symmetric parabolic curves independently of the horizontal input.
- Inspect horizontal, vertical and three-dimensional drawings and evaluate geometry at a selected station.
- Save project/workspace JSON and export drawing vertices to Excel or DXF; optional Japanese reference comparisons do not establish full code compliance.
Contribution
- Build editable horizontal and vertical geometry workflows with input validation.
- Connect station evaluation and review drawings to the same alignment definition.
- Provide portable project data and drawing exports for downstream coordination.
